PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely close a pour spout of a cap for container to improve safety even if contents are caught in an engaging part of the pour-spout. SOLUTION: An opening 11 of a pour spout 1 is tightly closed with an over cap 4 and a guide sleeve 6 forming a space 61 around the spout 1 is projected from the inner surface of the cap 4 to engage the sleeve 6 with the spout 1 and further a passage 11 is provided so as to communicate with the space 61 . Thus the cap is allowed to correctly close without being hindered by contents remaining in the sleeve 6 so that the sleeve 6 and the spout 1 are safely engaged with each other, and further the cap 4 can be easily opened or closed and hence can be effectively used as a cap for a container for use in an inverted state. |
