摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely calculate a suitable setting value and set an objective shape of a rolling stock in the case of setting the crown of buckup rolls by taking the shape in the position wherein the shape varies most with respect to the operation of respective divided bearings into the control variable of a model formula as its objective shape. SOLUTION: An optimum crown previously specified every kind of steel and width of sheet is set based on the past actual results and simulating calculation in a lower backup roll 20. The center of the control range is set as the reference value preparing with e.g. dynamic control during rolling in an intermediate roll bender 21. Therefore, the setting value of thrusting capacity of respective divided bearings 18c, 18i, 18o and 18e in an upper buckup roll 18 is calculated with the model formula according to rolling conditions of the rolling stock. Then, the objective shape of the rolling stock is set in the case of performing the initialization of the shape control actuator using the model formula.</p>
