<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent multi-feed and mis-feed of paper sheets by connecting a torque limiter to a separating roller for separating paper sheets picked up by a pick roller one by one, making the separating roller close to and separate from the pick roller, and driving a lifter for lifting up paper sheets and making the paper sheets close to and separate from the pick roller. SOLUTION: A pick roller 3 is driven by a stepping motor to pick up paper sheets 1. A separating roller 4 separates the paper sheets picked up from a paper cassette 2 by the pick roller 3 one by one. A lifter 6 makes the paper sheets 1 close to and separate from the pick roller 3. The separating roller 4 is pressed to the pick roller 3 by a spring 11 to apply contact pressure to the separating part which is the contact point part between the separating roller 4 and the pick roller 3. The separating roller 4 is set to be rotated in the reverse direction to the paper 1 transport direction by a torque limiter 14, so that if two or more paper sheets 1 enter the separating part, the separating roller 4 separates the paper sheets to transport only one paper sheet to the downstream side.</p> |
