PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an agent capable of controlling brown rot bacteria in a short time without damaging laver itself. SOLUTION: This cultured laver disease/injury control agent contains pyruvic acid as an active ingredient. The cultured laver disease/injury control agent may further contain at least one kind selected from the group consisting of itaconic acid, phytic acid, ketoglutaric acid, lactic acid, methanesulfonic acid, acetic acid, formic acid, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, citric acid, malic acid, tartaric acid, adipic acid, succinic acid, glutaric acid, maleic acid, fumaric acid, nitric acid and sulfuric acid in addition to the aqueous solution. The control agent can control the brown rot bacteria in 20sec in a concetration of 0.2W/V%, thus enabling the perfect control of the brown rot in a short time. The combination of the above-mentioned acid enables to enhance the disease/ injury control effect without damaging the laver. |
