PARTICLES OF HIGH-CONCENTRATION DETERGENT AND PRODUCTION OF GRANULAR DETERGENT CONTAINING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain particles containing a high-concentration ofα-sulfofatty acid ester of high fluidity and good solubility and obtain a high-concentration detergent which contains a high concentration ofα-sulfofatty acid ester without restriction of the degree of freedom on blending amount of theα-sulfofatty acid ester and shows good solubility. SOLUTION: Powder particles of a surfactant containing a high concentration ofα-sulfofatty acid ester and <=10wt.% water content and having an average particle size of 200-1,000μm are coated with a water-insoluble, fine-particle powder with a average particle size of <=10μm in an amount of 1-15wt.% based on the powder particles to prepare the objective particles of high-concentration surfactant. The particles and detergent components are mixed, then granulated by kneading and crushing granulation or by stirring granulation or by powder mixing to give the objective granular detergent.
