摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tip made of a surface coating WC group cemented carbide alloy capable of forming a smooth finished surface with high speed finish cutting. SOLUTION: A cutting tip made of a surface coating WC group cemented carbide consists of the WC group cemented carbide alloy base body having 0.003-0.01mm radius of curvature of an edge line on which the clearance surface and face surface intersect each other in the cutting edge part and a hard coating layer having 1-20μm of average layer thickness is evaporated and formed on the surface of the WC group cemented carbide alloy base body.
