ANTIFOULING AND THERMAL RAY-ABSORBING GLASS COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the new improved glass composition less prone to fouling, easy in the removal of stains and high in a thermal ray-absorbing effect. SOLUTION: This antifouling and thermal ray-absorbing glass composition contains a mineral having a natural residual magnetization of 10<-4> to 10<-13> T and an absorption rate of >=80% in an infrared light wavelength region of 4-24μm as an active ingredient for preventing fouling and absorbing thermal rays.
