PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a jam and meandering of a photosensitive material by setting the interval in the cross direction of transport guides a little larger than the width of the photosensitive material and reducing the interval in the cross direction of sub-scanning transport guides of an exposure part substantially to the measured maximum width of the photosensitive material at the time of starting auto-loading for the photosensitive material. SOLUTION: When a photosensitive material magazine 38 is installed in a photosensitive material feeding part 26 in an image recording apparatus, the cross-direction intervals of transport guides 44, 60, 66, and the cross-direction interval of a transport guide 104 are respectively set a little larger than the width of a photosensitive material A by a motor 46 and a motor 105. Thus, the photosensitive material A drawn out from the magazine 26 by a pair of draw-out rollers 40 is smoothly transported while being guided by transport guides 44, 60, 66 and 104. When the photosensitive material A is detected by a sensor 106 in an exposure part 32, however, the cross-direction interval of the transport guide 104 is set narrower to be substantially equal to the cross- direction length of the photosensitive material A so as to prevent meandering at the time of paper transport.
|
