<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeder capable of performing a sure sheet feed by eliminating generation of an improper paper feed regardless of sheet size, sheet kind (weighing amount, thickness) and presence of a curl on a sheet feed direction tip end side, without regulating the feed direction rear end of a sheet loaded on a sheet tray. SOLUTION: Of a plurality of sheets S loaded on a sheet tray 100, the sheet in the lowermost part is fed in a condition vacuum sucked by a feed belt 104 provided with a plurality of through holes. Here, a position on a width direction side-surface side of the sheet on the sheet tray 100 is regulated by regulating means 120, 121. In the sheet on the sheet tray 100, a flow of air from the one width direction side-surface side toward the other is injected from a nozzle 105. The sheet sucked to the feed belt 104 is separated from the other sheet by injection air from this nozzle 105.</p> |
