The present invention refers to a flexible reinforced hose, with a polyester core polyvinyl threaded plait, as well to a manufacturing process therefor. The hose comprises a flexible tube which can be manufactured with polymers or copolymers of the rubber type, as well as an exterior protecting mesh formed from a vinyl threaded plait; the hose conveys different types of fluids such as water, gas, oil derivatives and chemical products including corrosive products. The manufacturing process comprises the steps of extruding a hose, conducting it into a plaiting machine to form a protective mesh of polyvinyl threads which are threaded about said mesh; the plaited mesh hose is stretched by a pleating machine wherein it is coiled, and subsequently cut, and the connectors are placed at each end thereof so as to be connected to additional fluid supplying conduits or sources.
