The present invention discloses a system for transporting and handling P.L. gas canisters, characterized in that, it comprises two towpaths parallely spaced apart a distance enough as to allow a vehicle to pass between them; said system being dimensioned so as to facilitate storing, as well as loading and unloading of gas canisters to a conveying platform, which is especially designed with the mechanisms required to facilitate loading and unloading of gas canisters from the towpath to the platform and viceversa.
