This invention discloses a braking assembly for vehicles, wherein an actuator tube is disposed in a lowered part formed in a brake spinder periphery, and a pair of spaced recovering springs is connected to a pair of brake shoes respectively, which are pivotally mounted upon the spinder, wherein an actuator mounting edge is supported in a shoulder formed in the actuator tube. The braking assembly is reduced at a minimum size, so as to be used in a wheel having a diameter reduced at a minimum size, at the same time maintaining a maximum displacement of the brake shoes using a cam-type actuator.
