PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase opening voltage. SOLUTION: A dense film 12 (a protective film) which is composed of a substance of YBa2 Cu3 O7 (called YBCO) called triple defective perovskite having low activation energy of an oxygen ion and has a thickness of 400μm, is stuck to the anode side of solid electrolyte (SDC) 11, and heat treatment is performed at 900 deg.C for one hour in the atmosphere. Both diameters of the SDC 11 and the dense film 12 are ϕ25. Platinum is respectively used as an oxygen electrode 13 and a hydrogen electrode 14. Oxygen gas or air is supplied to an oxygen supply chamber 15, and hydrogen gas or natural gas is supplied to a fuel gas supply chamber 16. |
