The support consists of a plastics or metal panel (1) with a clamp (8) on the underside for fastening it to the handle of a shopping trolley. The upper surface of the panel has a space (7) for a shopping list, e.g. of self-adhesive paper. It also includes a groove (2) and a recess (3) with a central hole (4) for a chain (5) and token (6) needed to separate the trolley in a trolley park. A separate groove (9) has a magnetic surface to hold a pencil in a metal sleeve. The hole (4) is designed to allow the token to be removed from its recess by poking it out from below with a finger, and in a variant of the design the panel has a clip for retaining a shopping list when it is not on self-adhesive paper.
