PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the transmission quality by reducing the effect of distortion caused in a light emitting element of the optical transmitter. SOLUTION: A high frequency signal passing circuit 1 and a low frequency signal passing circuit 2 divide a frequency band into two with a frequency division multiplex signal using plural carriers with display device frequencies and light emitting elements 5, 6 convert respectively the signals into optical signals. The converted output optical signals are synthesized by a polarization synthesizer 7 so that the polarized planes are different from each other. Since the output optical signals are synthesized in the polarization synthesizer 7 so that the polarized planes are orthogonal, no interference is caused nor beat noise in a receiver is produced. |
