PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate a cursor position on a picture to easily discriminate a document area as the editing object where the cursor is placed by providing a display control means which displays the document area, where the cursor discriminated by a discrimination means is placed, and other document areas so that they can be distinguished from each other. SOLUTION: Plural document areas include at least header areas 200, text areas 201, or footer areas 202. A display control means displays character uninputted parts by blank sheet codes in the case of the document area, where the cursor is placed, and displays character uninput parts by spaces in the case of other document areas. Since a cursor 203 is placed in the text area 201 (as the editing object area) now, character uninput parts of the text area 201 are displayed by dots corresponding to blank sheet codes. Meanwhile, character uninputted parts are spaces in the header area 200 and the footer area 202 (other than the editing object area) where the cursor 203 is not placed. |
