<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collectively generate route information required for respective ATM exchanges and to dissolve erroneous input at the time of inputting the identification number of a virtual path by means of an operator. SOLUTION: A route information generation device 4 refers to the number of a cable connected to the respective ATM exchanges 1, develops a tree starting from the ATM exchange 1 becoming one side starting point to the ATM exchange 1 becoming the other side starting point via the cable 2 and the ATM exchange 1 becoming a repeater point and obtains the route of the virtual path which can be set. When one of the virtual paths is selected, a virtual path number and a virtual channel number are automatically adopted, route information on the respective ATM exchanges 1 through which the virtual path passes are set and information are down-loaded on the respective ATM exchanges 1.</p> |
