<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection circuit for a liquid crystal display device that the internal circuit of the liquid crystal display device isn't destroyed by static electricity (electrostatic noise). SOLUTION: The protection circuit is connected to a gate G and a source S of a second protection diode 12 from an electrode pad 2 through a protection resistor R3, and the gate G and the source S of a first protection diode 11 are connected to the drain D, and the drain D is connected to a source terminal. That is, the protection circuit is constituted so as to be provided with two protection diodes, and is constituted so as to be provided with two protection diodes of a third protection diode 13 and a fourth protection diode 14 between ground terminals similarly. In such a manner, the destruction of the internal circuit such as the drive circuit, of the liquid crystal display device is prevented with plural protection diodes 11-14.</p> |
