PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synchronize the time of a transmission station with that of a reception station by the order of a micro second (μs) unit. SOLUTION: The transmission station 1 of a time synchronization device is provided with a transmission/reception part 11 transmitting time data which is code-converted for a time data transmission request and transmission delay time to the reception station 3, a timer part 14 measuring transmission delay time and a CPU part 12 which converts time data expressed by hexadecimal in an HDLC procedure into a code which is not zero-inserted by dinarization for the time data transmission request. The reception station 3 is provided with a transmission/reception part 31 receiving time data transmitted from the transmission station 1 and transmission delay time and a timer part 34 measuring reception delay time until time is set from when the reception of time data is completed, and a CPU section 32 in which received time data is inversely converted into the original code of hexadecimal, transmission delay time, reception delay time, transmission delay time and the frame length time of time data are added and it is set in a clock part 33 as present time. |
