PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall embedded type air conditioner facilitating a piping operation at the back of the lower part of an indoor machine by a simple construction and thereby enabling reduction of the cost. SOLUTION: A hooking part 5 is provided on the back side of the upper side of a main-body casing 16 of an indoor machine 1, while a suspending part 4 is provided on the upper side of an installation frame 2 having a square shape viewed from the front. By making the hooking part 5 engage with the suspending part 4, the lower end part of the indoor machine 1 is made rotatable. Then, the indoor machine 1 is tilted so that the lower end part side thereof is positioned in front, and it is fixed temporarily by a pawl part 6. Piping 3 is connected through an opening formed between the back side of the lower part of the indoor machine 1 and the lower side of the installation frame 2. The indoor machine 1 is brought to an upright state thereafter by rotating the lower end side thereof and then moved in parallel rearward to be embedded in a wall. The suspending part 4 and the hooking part 5 are made to have structures making them disengage from each other with the parallel movement. |
