PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely display a scanning screen in the mode in which image contents are recognized while leaving an image of a program having been viewed so far in the case of executing program scanning. SOLUTION: The television receiver has a function of displaying slave screens whose size is smaller than a master screen. When the program scanning mode is set, a broadcast program or an image source having been viewed on the entire screen of a display device or a master screen 41 is displayed on a slave screen 42. Then images of plural broadcast programs obtained by changing channel selection state by a channel selection means sequentially are displayed sequentially on the master screen 41 to execute the program scanning. |
