<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a damage preventing mechanism for an image forming device capable of preventing the damage and overturn of the image forming device caused by the application of unnecessary force by supporting a load applied to an image forming part, in a state where this image forming part is turned forward from a device main body and stopped at a maintenance stopping position, for attaining reinforcement. SOLUTION: The damage preventing mechanism for the image forming device supports the image forming part 1 with a paper feeding tray 40, when the image forming part 1 is turned up to a normal stopping position capable of a maintenance operation and is provided with an interlocking mechanism for opening/ closing the paper feeding tray 40, linked with the turning of the image forming part, an elastic member working in a direction where the image forming part 1 is pushed back up to the normal stopping position capable of the maintenance operation, when the image forming part 1 is turned up to the normal stopping position and then, displaced more than that in a tuning direction, a sounding means for sounding with a turn, in addition and further, a waning device issuing warning by the detecting work of a detecting means.</p> |
