PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure an intuitive operating environment by holding a pen at the tip of a link mechanism, ensuring the independence of the pen on a computer screen, detecting the angles of rotation of the joints, and inputting the position coordinates of the pen point to a computer. SOLUTION: A switch outputs the on-off signals via the proper writing pressure increase-decrease operations of an operator applied to a pen point 2 which moves on a screen 16 connected to a computer 15. Then the switch is built into a pen 1. The detectors 51 and 52 output the angles of rotation of the joints 6 and 7 of a link mechanism 9 to these joints as the angle-of-rotation signals. A decoder inputs these angle-of-rotation signals and converts them into the signals exhibiting the right-left and upper-lower directions and the moved variable of the screen 16 respectively to output these signals. An I/F box 11 outputs the decoder output and the switch on-off signals, and the output of the box 11 is inputted to the computer 15 via a connector 12.
|
