PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent useless consumption of power in such peripheral equipment as those not used for image data processing depending upon operation modes. SOLUTION: The peripheral equipment discriminating means 18 of a printer device body 1 discriminates between the peripheral equipments 3a to 3f used and nonused, in accordance with the operation mode. Power supply switching parts 14 supply the power to the power supply parts for driving 31 of the respective peripheral equipments 3a to 3f or them and power supply parts for control 34, according to the results of the discrimination, so that the supply of the power to the power supply parts 31 and 34 of the peripheral equipments 3a to 3f is controlled in accordance with the operation mode. |
