PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diagnose a degraded condition of a fuel cell in more detail by obtaining a highly reliable fuel cell which has high performance and whose characteristic with the lapse of time is stable by setting the gas flow distribution corresponding to the electric current distribution in a fuel cell plane, and evaluating local performance in the fuel cell plane. SOLUTION: A passage of reaction gas is divided into plural parts in a fuel cell plane, and a gas densitometer 8 to measure the gas concentration of an inlet and outlet, a discriminator 9 to operate and discriminate an electric current value from a gas concentration difference and a controller 10 to control a flow regulating valve 6, are provided. Gas supply corresponding to the electric current distribution is made possible. Therefore, an effect capable of providing a highly reliable fuel cell which has high performance and whose characteristic with the lapse of time is stable, can be fulfilled. Since performance of a specific part in a fuel cell plane can be measured, when partial performance is inspected with the lapse of time such as periodic inspection time, a degraded condition of the fuel cell can be diagnosed in more detail. |
