SUBSTRATE FOR COLOR FILTER AND ITS EVALUATING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the substrate for the color filter which can evaluate the ink repellency of a repellent ink part before an image display area is colored and the evaluating method for the color filter substrate which facilitates the evaluation of the ink repellency of the substrate. SOLUTION: Ink is given in ink repellency evaluation pattern having a plurality of similar repellent ink areas with repellent ink which are provided on the substrate and the ink repellency of the repellent ink parts is evaluated judging from which of the similar repellent ink areas does not repel the given ink to the largest area.
