<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical method which can render a PCB polluted object such as electric equipment having PCB adhering thereto harmless in safety. SOLUTION: In a non-toxication treatment of electric equipment, PCB is dried by evaporation with respect to a PCB-polluted object such as capacitor or transformer with a PCB insulation oil removed, after the drying thereof, the PCB-polluted object is disassembled and then, combustibles having the PCB adhering thereto is incinerated in an induction furnace 1 while metal undergoes a melting treatment and an exhaust gas containing the PCB generated during the drying and melting is subjected to a high temperature thermal decomposition treatment. A closed furnace lid 3 is arranged at an upper part of a furnace body and an internal pressure of the furnace is controlled by a negative pressure to prevent the leakage of a gas in the furnace through a clearance of a sealing part 9b. Moreover, air or oxygen enriched air is blown into an upper space of an induction furnace 1 to burn the combustibles. Thus, the combustibles is heated through metal or melt metal receiving an induction heating thereby enabling incinerating of the combustibles by raising the temperature thereof.</p> |
