PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an IC replacement device by which an IC can be attached to, and removed from, an IC socket easily by a method wherein the IC which is fixed to an IC holder is mounted on, and attached to, the IC socket. SOLUTION: When an IC is mounted on, and attached to, an IC socket 70, the IC is first sandwiched and held or sucked, terminals of the IC are placed on the surface of a base 11 at an IC replacement device 10, the IC is pushed from the tip part 14 of a sandwiching and holding claw 12 in this state, and the IC is brought into pressure contact with, and fixed to, the base 11. Then, a lid part 77 at the IC socket 70 is set to an open state, the terminals of the IC which are fixed to the IC replacement device 10 are mounted on, and attached to, connection parts 73 at a main body part 71 in the IC socket 70, the IC is fixed to the main body part 71 by the lid part 77, and a measuring operation is performed. When the measuring operation is completed, the lid part 77 is opened, the IC replacement device 10 is taken out from the main body part 71, and the IC is taken out. In this manner, the IC is held by using the IC replacement device 10, it is set on an IC socket 70 at an IC measuring device together with the IC replacement device 10, and a measuring operation is performed. As a result, the IC can be attached to, and removed from, the IC socket 70 easily, and the measuring operation is made efficient. |
