Clutch control operated by linear actuator with rotary potentiometer transducer for measuring movement

The clutch control is operated by a linear actuator (1) which pushes, via an actuating rod, a clutch fork (2) towards its clutched position (2a). It consists of a potentiometric displacement transducer (9) measuring the unwinding of a flexible cable connected to the actuating rod. It has a segment turning on the actuator retaining the end (11a) of the flexible cable opposed to the actuating rod (6) and allows adjustment of the cable length during the effective movement of the actuating rod. This adjustment is by an actuating spring (21) retaining a pivoting finger (16) on the end of the cable (11) in relation to the segment.
