The method involves placing a base slab (1) on which a roof framework (3) is then assembled and raised to place below it the supporting walls (10) to allow positioning of the roof framework on the supporting walls. The roof framework carries an inner frame (6) to engage the supporting walls. The inner frame is raised via a lifting frame (2) which is positioned by modular supports (7) which have synchronised actuators. The supports can have parts (8) on each of which slides a lift (9) fixed to the lifting frame.
