PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform optimum charging and optimum assist, avoid the degradation of a fuel consumption rate which is caused by the torque assist when the charged rate of a capacitor is relatively low and maintain the uncharged capacity of the capacitor for the next generating time in order to prepare for the next generating time. SOLUTION: An output torque controller has a motor-generator 20, a capacitor 25, an acceleration sensor 27, a revolution sensor 28, a voltage sensor 29 and an electronic control unit(ECU) 31. The ECU 31 drives the motor-generator 20 with the power of the capacitor 25 for the torque assist of an engine 12 in accordance with the detected values of the sensors 27 and 28 and stores the power generated by the motor-generator 20 in the capacitor 25. The higher the voltage between the terminals of the capacitor 25 detected by the voltage sensor 29, the more extended a load region in which the torque assist is performed toward a low load side for the torque assist by the ECU 31. |
