PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate unstable light emission during the initial stage of light emission starting. SOLUTION: The trigger circuit 6 of a flash discharging pipe supplies a high frequency high voltage from an output terminal TO to the trigger electrode of a flash discharging pipe 8 and ionized the interior of the discharge pipe so as to start light emission when a high level signal is applied to an input terminal TI. A flash control circuit 10 is made conductive when a high level signal is applied to an input terminal S11 or S12 and made non-conductive when a low level signal is applied. The input terminal 11 of an integration circuit 11 starts an integrating operation when a high level signal is inputted and stops the integration when a low level signal is inputted. The input terminal KI of a light intensity detecting circuit 12 starts a detecting operation when a high level signal is inputted and stops the detection when a low level signal is inputted. |
