PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of the superconducting characteristic of a superconducting coil, by using a tape-form insulation material with formed oxidation Ni layers on both the surfaces thereof as the insulation material interposed between the winding laminated wires of the superconducting coil. SOLUTION: A superconducting coil using the tape-form oxide superconducting wire comprising an oxide superconductor 1 coated with an Ag sheath material 2, wherein a tape-form insulation material with formed oxidation Ni layers 6 on both the surfaces thereof is used as the insulation material interposed between its oxide superconducting wires. Also, when the material on both the surfaces of whose base layer made of a stainless steel 5 the oxidation Ni layers 6 are formed is used as the tape-form insulation material, the thickness thereof can be made not larger than 100μm. Further, Ni tapes are stuck in a vacuum on both the surfaces of the stainless steel tape 5 to oxidize the resultant tape in an oxygen atomosphere, and such tape-form insulation material with the formed oxidation Ni layers 6 on both the surfaces thereof is used to manufacture this superconducting coil. |
