PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge whether the communication result of communication executed between an on-vehicle equipment and a road equipment is valid or not independently of the traveling state and size of a vehicle. SOLUTION: When a four-wheel vehicle 90A and a two-wheel vehicle 90B are travelling in parallel, the vehicles 90A, 90B are respectively detected as a center position and a right edge position by communication in a communication area. Then the arrival of the vehicle 90A is detected by a line sensor 148, the communication position is compared with the arrival position, and when both the position coincide with each other, a communication result is judged as valid communication. On the other hand, the arrival of the vehicle 90B is detected by a line sensor 146, the communication position and the arrival position are compared with each other, and when both the positions coincide with each other, the communication result is judged as valid communication. When the communication result is invalid, both the vehicles 90A, 90B are photographed by a camera 180. The arrival position of the vehicle 90A detected by the sensor 146 is neglected and the arrival position of the vehicle 90B detected by the sensor 148 is neglected. |
