The elastic pivot joint has an exterior frame (1) and an inner frame (2) with an elastic material (3) interposed between them. At the level of at least one of the frames an insert bush (ED) deforms and preloads the elastic material following assembly of the pivot. The deformable bush is made from plastics, light alloy or steel. The bush can be formed as a closed ring with a thin wall section. The ring can be, in its free state, an annulus or ovoid. The bush can alternatively be formed of two separate sections. |
