A composition for oxidation dyeing keratin fibres, particularly human keratin fibres such as hair, including at least one suitable oxidation base, at least one meta-aminophenol as the first coupler, and 4-hydroxyindoline and/or at least one acid addition salt thereof as the second coupler, as well as a dyeing method using said composition together with an oxidising agent, are disclosed.
