The ball includes a device which changes the colour of the ball according to an actuation system. A device controls a luminous network formed from a number of luminous devices e.g. lamps or diodes of the same or different colours. The actuation device allows direct or indirect routing of the current generated by an internal battery. Current can be routed in two ways, using either two paths or two distinct switches. The ball can be translucent, semi-translucent or opaque with holes in it. Different patterns can be put on the outer ball surface which can also have different shapes e.g. polyhedral.
