PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice coding device which can obtain a high-quality coded voice without lowering compressibility. SOLUTION: The device codes the voice signals inputted and sampled in the unit of a specified period in the units of frame using linear predictive parameters and drive sound source signals corresponding to linear predictive residual signals. The drive sound source signals are represented using the parameters including pitch components of voice signals, the pitch gain showing the gain of the pitch components, the residual components other than the pitch components in the units of subframes obtained by dividing the voice signals of one frame, and an adaptive code gain interpolation circuit 38 interpolates the pitch gain by the pitch gain in the present subframe and that in the precedent subframe every other sample. |
