<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operationality of the menu screen display method/ device by rearranging the registered records in order of higher using frequency, displaying the selection items in the selection item burying area of a menu screen in order of rearrangement of the registered records, and retrieving these records out of a menu item file. SOLUTION: An input means 11 such as a keyboard, etc., moves a cursor, and a storage means 13 stores a menu item register file which stores plural records in every selection item. A reading means 15 reads the means 13, and a retrieval means 17 retrieves a prescribed record out of the menu item register file. A writing means 19 writes the retrieved record, and an editing means 21 rearranges the records registered in the menu item register file in order of higher using frequency and based on the information registered in the menu item register file. A display means 23 displays the contents of the menu item register file after its editing. In such a configuration the key input frequency of an operator can be reduced in a processing item selection mode.</p> |
