PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent formation of waterdrops by reducing splashing of condensate scraped up by the annular member of a fan and to prevent the generation of uncomfortable noise due to waterdrops by applying hydrophilic treatment on the inner wall of an outer casing. SOLUTION: A hydrophilic film 8 is formed on the inner wall of an outer box 1. Condensate W scraped up by a slinger ring 7 through rotation of a fan 4 jumps against the inner wall of the outer box 1 for scattering. A part thereof is scattered by wind from a fan 4 and blown against a heat-exchanger 2 on the indoor side to effect cooling. Other condensate than condensate, blown against the heat-exchanger 2 on the outdoor side, of condensate W scraped up by the slinger ring 7 is collided with the inner wall of an outer box 1. But, since the inner wall has hydrophilic property, the occurrence of bouncing of the condensate is reduced. Thus, since no waterdrop is formed on an inner wall part, the condensate colliding with the fan is suppressed and the generation of uncomfortable noise is prevented.
|
