PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of executing excellent image formation without the occurrence of a resist failure in the tip end, jamming, etc., even if switching to a copying mode different in carrying path for transfer paper is performed. SOLUTION: The image forming device is a device for forming the image in such a manner that an electrostatic latent image is formed on an image carrier 8 with the exposure of an original image, etc., and developed with the toner of a developing device 10, to be turned into a visible image and the toner image is transferred to a transfer paper in a transfer part 14 and fixed by a fixing device 16. The image forming device is capable of carrying the transfer papers placed on paper feeding trays 11-1 and 11-2, a double-sided tray 19, etc., with specified timing one by one, is synchronization with the formation of the image on the image carrier 8, to accurately transfer the toner image to the normal position of the transfer paper. Further, the image forming device is provided with the copying modes (a one-side coping mode, a both-side copying mode, a composite copying mode, etc.,) with the different transfer paper carrying paths, to switch the timing of carrying the transfer paper with respect to the formation of the image, in accordance with the copying modes. |
