PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image transmission method which allows the side of an image receiver to require image transmission from a necessary place as desired by eliminating the impossibility of controlling the image transmission on the image receiving side and which protects the secrecy of image information even if the image is transmitted through a public line. SOLUTION: In the image transmission method, a line is connected from an image receiver to an image transmitter and a personal identification number is transmitted from the side of the image receiver. Then the image transmitter judges whether the personal identification number is the one for permitting a transmission request stored in advance, and when it is the permitted one, image transmission is required from the side of the image receiver. In response to it, the image transmitter inputs and transmits the image. |
