The machine propelled by muscle power comprises, gathered together on one and the same longitudinal chassis (3), - a housing in the form of toe clips (5) making it possible to immobilise the feet of the user on the chassis, - a moving seat (7) guided longitudinally on the said chassis (3), - propulsion means made up of a moving pull bar (12) which the user takes in his hand, and of a movement transmission interposed between the said pull bar (12) and the propulsive rear wheel (1). The guiding wheels (2) are located at the front, secured to an axle (4). Steering control is brought about by means of the pull bar (12) by pivoting this pull bar. The pivoting of the pull bar gives rise, by means of a crank (20) located under the chassis (3), to the lateral displacement of a rail (28) of U-shaped cross-section, open upwards, which rail is secured to the steering bar (rod) (17). <IMAGE> |
