<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue communication service to a subscriber even if a fault occurs in a line by providing preliminary lines becoming a pair with main lines and providing the table of the presence or absence of the mounting of the main line and the preliminary line connecting inter-station devices and intra-station device and the table of operation/non-operation state. SOLUTION: An initialization processing part reads and generates data which are to be stored in the tables (40 and 41) from a main memory 34 and judges whether data is to be transferred to common devices or not. When judgment is 'YES', the common devices edit data into a data system which can be used. Data are transferred to the respective common devices 12 through an optical line and the data are set in the common devices 12 so as to terminate a processing. The table 41 is the operation/non-operation line identification data table, and it stores the operation/non-operation data groups of the main lines and the preliminary lines of respective units. When a received cell is that from a non-operation line, a cell abolishment part abolishes it at the time of receiving the cell.</p> |
