The impure gas eliminator is used to eliminate non-condensed gas contained in the refrigerant of a refrigerator, which comprises: a cooling drum(1) for receiving gas refrigerant in which impure gas is contained from a receiver(2); a cooling pipe(1f) for cooling the cooling drum(1); a first pipe(1a) having a stop valve(1a') and an expansion valve(1a"), for conveying the liquid refrigerant of the receiver(2) to the cooling pipe(1f); a second pipe(1b) having a stop valve(1b'), for conveying the gas refrigerant from the receiver(2) to the interior of the cooling drum(1); a third pipe(1c) having a stop valve(1c'), for flowing a pure liquid refrigerant in which the impurity is removed to the receiver(2); a fourth pipe(1d) for returning the refrigerant via the cooling pipe(1f) to a compressor(4) and having a temperature sensing pipe(1d') for sensing the temperature of the refrigerant to control the expansion of the expansion valve(1a"); and a fifth pipe(1e) having a thermal valve(1e'), for discharging the impure gas within the cooling drum(1) to the atmosphere.
