The double-expansion refrigerant cycle having a compressor(1), a condenser(2) and an evaporator(7), comprises: an accumulator(4) interposed between the condenser(2) and the evaporator(7), for separating the refrigerant emitted from the condenser(2) into gas and liquid refrigerant; a first capillary(3) installed between the condenser(2) and the accumulator(4), for expanding the refrigerant emitted from the condenser(2); a second capillary(6) installed between the accumulator(4) and the evaporator(7), for flowing the liquid refrigerant to the evaporator(7); a heat exchanging pipe(8) for surrounding the outer surface of the accumulator(4) to cause heat exchange between the refrigerant from the evaporator(7) and the refrigerant from the accumulator(4); and a gas refrigerant passage(5) for conveying the gas refrigerant separated in the accumulator(4) to the compressor(1).
