The structured packing (20) is divided into bundles of corrugations angularly oriented one to the other. Each calming section (14) has multiple layers (67, 68, 69) of structured packing (20) which are rotated relative to each other to further enhance the distribution of liquid therethrough and to effect and improve sealing along the edges thereof.</p> |
