The device has a light source (31) for projecting a predetermined quantity of light, a microscope lens unit (51) with a number of lenses coupled to a video device (3), an objective part (53) for holding an object and a light transmission part (6) for projecting the light emitted by the light source. The light transmission device can be a light conductor or can contain a reflection device which is mounted inside the microscope lens unit to reflect the light from the source and to project the reflected light to the object.
