METHOD OF CHITIN PREPARING

FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing chitin from pig manure and avian dung. Fresh fly eggs were placed under surface layer of nutrient substrate - manure or dung in capacity where eggs were bred for 24 h at 26-28 C and larvae were obtained. Then nutrient substrate with larvae is loaded over to container with fresh nutrient substrate where larvae were grown for 3-4 days at 26-28 C; then free larvae were transferred to capacity for 12-18 h for intestine tract cleansing and pupation; then pupas were placed in breeding place for 2-3 days and after flies flowing out puparia (shells) were gathered. Shells are the source for chitin preparing. EFFECT: improved method of chitin preparing from synanthropic flies.
