The rolling-out spool has a belt roller, a drive roller and a sprung traction cord roller. The drive roller (6) and the traction cord roller (4) have coupling devices (12, 13, 14), which engage to form a working connection between the belt roller (1) and the drive roller. This engagement occurs in the event of an interruption of the working connection between the drive roller and the belt roller when the belt is being rolled in or out, and of an acceleration of the drive roller caused by an interruption of the contact with the drive spring (10).
